Summer Summary
How did European futnet spend the summer holiday? What were the most interesting news and events in July and August? Our summer futnet summary will give you the answers.
- At the beginning of July the official World Championships webpage as well as facebook profile were launched.
- Between 23 and 28 July 2012, 3rd International Futnet Camp for Women and Youth, organised by Czech Futnet Association, EFTA member, in cooperation with sports club TJ Slovan Chabařovice (CZ), took place in Chabařovice, a small town in the northwest of the Czech Republic. Photogallery
- Many outdoor futnet tournaments took place in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, most notably in the latter the 17th Valach Open in Vsetín on 9 July and the oldest international tournament in the world 51st Šacung on 27 July. Photogallery from Šacung
- Friendly international match between the clubs of NK Climax Vsetín (Czech Rep.) and Blokers Lodz (Poland) took place on 4 August in Lodz, Poland. More information on the facebook page of Blokers Lodz where you can find also this nice photogallery.
- On 11 August first ever futnet cup was held in Copenhagen, Denmark. More about the tournament in the following article.
- The date and venue of the draw into groups for 2012 UNIF World Championships for all the categories was announced late August. The draw will take place on Thursday, 27 September, in Nymburk’s Sports Centre, on the eve of Czech Extraleague Final. As of 1 September, already 19 countries are confirmed for the men’s tournament!
