Seeding for the draw
The official draw for UNIF Futnet World Championships 2016 is taking place today, 25 October in Brno. Check out the basic competition framework and how the countries will be seeded and drawn into groups.
Finally, twenty-one countries will be taking part at the World Championships: Austria, Basque Country, Canada, Cameroon, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mali, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, South Korea, Switzerland, Ukraine, USA
India have withdrawn their application due to the problems with financial backing.
Basic information about the seeding and draw in all disciplines - Single, Double, Triple
Qualifying Tournament
There will be 4 groups with 3 teams (in the single and double one of the groups will have 4 teams). Best 4 teams from the Qualifying Tournament will play in Division A, the rest of the teams in Division B.

Teams are drawn into groups in the following order – W, X, Y, Z

Teams are drawn into groups in the following order – W, X, Y, Z
World Championships – Division A – 12 teams
4 groups with 3 teams
Pot 1
Teams are directly seeded into groups according to the results from WCh in Nymburk 2012 (7 teams) plus Romania have a wild card.
Groups: A – seed 1, B – seed 4, C – seed 3, D – seed 2

Teams are drawn into groups in the following order – A, B, C, D
The remaining 4 spots in Division A will be taken by best 4 teams from the qualifying tournament.
World Championships – Division B – 8 or 9 teams
Teams that do not qualify for the Division A from the Qualifying Tournament will play in Division B. The results of the matches from the Qualifying Tournament count in Division B.
Cameroon take part in singles and doubles, not in triples. That is why there will be 9 teams in single and double and 8 teams in triple in Division B.
