Interliga 2014 starting on 26 April
European club futnet league Interliga 2014, organised by the Slovak Futnet Association, is starting on 26 April with the first tournament in Lodz, Poland. This year the league counts with 8 clubs from 4 countries and 6 tournaments between April and October.
Interliga 2014 is the second edition of the long-term European club competition organized by the Slovak Futnet Association (SNA), member of international associations EFTA and UNIF, for the top teams from Slovakia complemented with the teams from Czech Republic, Poland and Romania. After their participation last year, Ukraine was interested again to take part in the competition, but due to the difficult current situation in the country, they had to withdraw their application.
Interliga is regarded as the top Slovak league and the best Slovak team from Interliga gains the right to represent Slovakia in international club competitions.

Competition system and schedule
The league consists of round-robin stage (5 tournaments) and the play-off (last tournament). All tournaments are played on a Saturday.
1st Tournament – Lodz 26 April 2014
2nd Tournament – Revúca 31 May 2014
3rd Tournament – Košice 21 June 2014
4th Tournament – Vsetin 23 August 2014
5th Tournament – Salonta 13 September 2014
6th Final tournament – Humenné 4 October 2014
Round-robin stage
Round-robin stage includes 5 tournaments at which each team will play three matches agains all other teams. Each match consists of four sub-matches. Each sub-match consists of 2 sets till 11 (max. score 11:10). Sub-matches order:
first double, single, triple, second double
Final stage
In the last tournament, all teams will play in quarterfinals according to their ranking after first 5 tournaments: 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5
The losers will play for 5th-8th places, the winners will advance to the semifinals: winner of 1-8 vs winner of 4-5, winner of 2-7 vs winner of 3-6
Semifinal losers will play for 3rd place, winners will play in the final for Interliga 2014 title.
In the play-off, UNIF rules are applied (two won sets, till 11 points with a 2-point difference, max. till 15). To win a match, the team has to win 3 sub-matches. The order or sumatches is the same as in the round-robin stage, if the score is 2:2 after four sub-matches, 5th sub-match is played in triple.
