Good News from Costa Rican Futnet Association
In the past month Costa Rican Futnet Association, represented by its founding members Mr. Esteban Santiago and Mr. David Solano, assisted to a official award ceremony in San Pablo, Heredia, the hometown of the 1st National Champions of Costa Rican Futnet.
Thanks to the good work of the winning coach, Mr. Mario Montero, the activity was a total success. The ceremony had the presence of the town’s mayoress and representatives of the local government, and of course the players, who witness very interesting cultural and civic acts.
The champion, Team Kañir, is a special case for Costa Rican Futnet. Not only they are the 1st official winners of a futnet tournament in the Central American region, but also the team represents a therapeutic institute, that helps a lot of people in the struggle against drugs and other social problems; they are part of the social responsibility program of Costa Rican Futnet Association and we are very glad that our sport is not only growing in competitive and professional aspects, but also becoming a tool to help persons that are coming through problematic situations.
In the activity the local authorities ratified their interest to organize the 2nd National League, event that will become the first official futnet tournament outside San José, the capital of Costa Rica. We are sure that very soon we will have more good news of the development of futnet in America. For more information please you can check the Facebook pages: Futnet Costa Rica and Futnet World.
