Hard work of the Ukrainian Futnet Association on the development of futnet in their country has been rewarded with further great achievements – their first ever national championship for men and first tournament for women.
First of all, it must be said that Ukrainian Futnet Association has made a great progress since last winter:
In November 2011, for the first time in Ukraine, regular futnet training sessions for kids aged 9 and 10 started at one of the secondary schools in Kiev.
In December, in the town of Zhitomir, a futnet section was created in the football class of Legion 21 club for young people aged 15 and 16. Regular trainings are provided by the coach Sergey Gvozd. This section is first of its kind for these ages in Ukraine so the Zhitomir guys have a great chance to get into the youth team of Ukraine in the near future.
