End of season in Slovakia and Czech Republic
Top leagues are now over in Slovakia and Czech Republic. In both countries, last year champions confirmed their dominance on the futnet scene and claimed the titles also this year.
Czech Republic
In the Czech Republic, it was already 10th league title for the Moravian club of Modrice. This year, they have already won UNIF Club World Cup and, at the end of September, in the Czech league Superfinal, they proved their strength again against their traditional rival from Karlovy Vary.
To win the Superfinal, either team had to win 5 games which included all futnet disciplines (some played several times with a different set of players) in a fixed order (see the final result).
The Superfinal was broadcasted live by Czech TV and is now available for futnet fans from all over the world in the Czech TV archive.

Slovakia
On 4 October, the Slovakian town of Humenne hosted the best 8 teams at the final playoff tournament of European club futnet league Interliga 2014, organised by Slovak Futnet Association, as the top league for Slovak teams, complemented with clubs from Romania, Czech Republic and Poland.
After five tournaments in which all teams had played one another, the Romanian club of CS Tengo Salonta was in the lead before DPMK Kosice from Slovakia and another Slovak team of ŠK Laborec Humenne.
In the playoff tournament, to win the match, the team had to win three games (submatches). The order of the games was the following: 1st double – single – 1st triple – and, if necessary also 2nd double-2nd triple.
The biggest surprise of the tournament was the defeat of the leading club by the Czech team of Climax Vsetin already in quarterfinal, though it is true that Romanian club had to do without some of its best players. The rest of the teams that managed to get to the semifinals were from Slovakia.
In the end, DPMK Košice repeated their Interliga victory from last year after defeating another Slovak team NK Revuca in the final.
