Club World Cup 2018 in Vsetin, Czech Republic
Union Internationale de Futnet organizes 3rd edition of Club World Cup together with the Czech club champion NK CLIMAX Vsetín and with support of the Czech Futnet Association.
The main part of the tournament will be held on Saturday, 11 August 2018 in Vsetín. Possible qualification to the main tournament will be organized on Friday, 2018 August 10th in Vsetín.
One (1) match consists of games of single, double and triple.
Maximum number of participants is twelve (12) teams. Six (6) seeded to the main tournament and six (6) play the qualification stage.
Applications will be admitted from the countries whose club champions were placed 1st to 6th last year and from other countries applications will be admitted in the order in which they are received (including the payments). Min. two spots are available to non-European teams.

Playing system
Group stage – Saturday, August 11th 08.00 – apx. 14.30 h
Matches in two groups on 4 clay courts outdoors. Each group has four (4) teams that play against each other. It is three (3) games for every team in this order: single, double, triple. For every set won, the team receives one point.
Wet weather alternative: In two sports halls (Lapač, Hovězí) with two (2) courts (one each), matches in two (2) groups.
Final stage – Saturday, August 11th apx. 15.00 – 20.00 h
Both semifinal matches played at the same time, then the match for the 3rd place and the final match will be played. Each match consists of max. five (5) games for every team in this order: 1st single, 1st double, triple, 2nd double, 2nd single. For every game won, the team receives one point. The first team to win three (3) game points is the winner.
Wet weather alternative: in a sports hall with one (1) central court both semifinal matches and one (1) final match will be played (match for 3rd place will not be played). It is max. five (5) games for every team in this order: 1st single, 1st double, triple, 2nd double, 2nd single.
For every game won, the team receives one point. The first team to win three (3) game points is the winner.
Afternoon programme will feature cultural and sports exhibitions.
Playing system for more than eight (8) teams
The main tournament – six (6) teams are seeded to two (2) groups by UNIF Technical Committee based on their ranking last year.
Seeding to groups A and B will be made by lot. The last two (2) places will be completed with first two teams from qualification. Qualification will be played in sports hall with one court, max. six (6) teams. Final system of qualification will be decided by UNIF Technical Committee after deadline for applications.
Criteria for advancing to semifinals
First two teams with most set points from both groups advance to the semifinals.
If two (2) or more participants win the same number of set points, the following criteria are in force:
a) More set points from the matches played between themselves
b) Higher difference ball points from the matches between themselves
c) Same criteria in the same order a), b) from all matches in the group
c) Drawing lots if all the criteria are the same.
Webstreaming
Selected matches of the main tournament will be broadcasted live to all over the world on youtube at nohejbal.tv channel.
There is no cost involved for live webstreaming or on-demand viewing.
Czech TV sport channel
The Czech TVsport channel will record all important parts of the tournament, especially from the final stage which will be broadcasted later (30 min) on Czech TV.
