8th Flanders Tennis-Foot Cup in Lokeren
A great futnet tournament with 72 teams from 4 countries took place on 25 May in Lokeren, Belgium. Excellent organisation, hundreds of interesting matches, competitive, but friendly and fair-play spirit made it an unforgettable day.

UNIF General Secretary Zuzana Viňanská was present at the tournament, accompanying EFTA Futnet Team and establishing official relations between UNIF and the organisers. EFTA Futnet Team made a great impression and won 2nd place after losing only one match – a very tense final against HAC TB Le Havre 0:2, both sets 13:15. What is interesting is that Le Havre is the place where first futnet club in France was set up in 1997 by Mr Benoît Recher.

On behalf of UNIF and EFTA as well as on my personal behalf, I would like to thank the organisers for the great event that was 8th edition of Flanders Tennis-Foot Cup. We know that it takes a lot of time and effort to organise any sporting event, but to do something so big, with 72 teams, and with such an excellent result, that is simply amazing and I can just say extremely well done!
Apart from the sporting and technical side, it was great to meet such nice and easy-going people as were all the guys on the organising team - Kenny, Mich, Jan, Tom and Kristof. To organise such a massive event must be quite stressful, but all the time I had a feeling that they were relaxed and positive and that made our day even more enjoyable.
