25 years of Swiss Futnet Association
This year Swiss Futnet Association (ASFT) is celebrating 25th anniversary of its existence. To mark this great occasion, an International Triples Tournament under UNIF auspices with an attractive prize money of 3000 CHF will take place on 9 June in Fribourg.
The invitation to the tournament was sent to the top futnet nations such as Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania France... The host country, Switzerland, will, of course, be also represented in the event.
To celebrate this anniversary, another triples tournament will be held in Fribourg at the same time for teams from lower competitions. This tournament is open also to women and mixed teams.

Playing format
The tournament is played in triples according to the UNIF rules. Teams will be divided into 2 groups of 7 teams. The group matches will be played in 2 sets of 11 points maximum (no two-point gap): each set won means 1 point. First fours teams from both groups advance to quarter-finals. From quarter-final onwards, the matches will be played in two winning sets of 11 points with 2 points difference (maximum 13). In case of a third set (tie break) the score starts at 6-6.
Venue
The tournament will take place in the sports hall of the Collège Sainte-Croix in Fribourg, rue A.-de-St-Exupéry 4, CH-1700 Fribourg.
Programme
From 8 to 14.30 group matches are scheduled, at 15.00 quarterfinals and around 16.30 semifinals. Final matches are expected to take place around 18.00.

CZECH REPUBLIC B composed of the players of their last season champion Modrice Jakub Mrakava, Radek Pelikan and Pavel Kop have confirmed their supremacy in international futnet and after beating Emerainville (FR) 2:0 in the final are the absolute winners of this special 25th ASFT Anniversary Tournament. Congratulations!
Third place goes to Czech Republic A (Doubrava, Kalas, Topinka) that have won against Slovakia A 2:0 (Kilik, Černota, Hulin, Kozlik).
Emerainville players Voisinot, Marie, Gil and Brillet also deserve our recognition since on their way to the final they showed some great moves and skills and managed to beat some very strong teams such as Slovakia A and Czech Republic A. Well done!
